They lie on the lease don't respect their own terms. The property manager is rude and will lie to protect his company as its full of faults. Buildings are falling apart. Change what they say the terms are to fit their agenda. They dont deserve anyone's buissness.

Called durning the week to make sure they would be available for me to come look on Saturday, the woman who answered said they would be there and available on Saturday. So Friday morning I made a 4 hour trip from Chicago to Macomb so I can go take a look at apartments. To say the least, no one was there on Saturday. Not professional at all and lost my business!

Very dirty, unsafe. Carpets are dirty and smells. They don’t clean before tenants move in. Was handcuffed while going to my house because they have criminals there since they don’t do background checks. Anyone can just move in. Took two months to get my security deposit and they deducted carpet cleaning fees when they actually don’t clean anything. For your own safety. Don’t go there. Both Wheeler street and Adams street especially. Actually all their properties are not safe.

I rented with macomb rentals for 2 years, in 2 different locations when I went to school at WIU. I always paid rent on time and never caused problems. The first was a decent house. Anytime there was a problem, someone can to fix it within the week. The staff was okay and professional, even while helping with a difficult roommate situation. The second was a newly remodeled apartment. While living here, the staff was always super nice and helpful and if I needed something fix such as my fridge dying or my AC leaking, someone was there to fix it usually the same day I called. I usually didn’t bother them if I didn’t have an urgent issues. I also made sure to really clean my apartment before I moved out and I ended up getting almost all of my security deposit back.

I lived here for two years and although our house had a few issues, the staff was always very helpful. We had an absolutely horrible room mate situation and they helped us figure everything out. Lauren and Megan were awesome go and see them if you need anything!
