My experience at the Libertyville Athletico has been wonderful! I had a serious ankle injury, and the team there has been so helpful and motivating. Melissa, my PT, is amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I trust her completely. The improvement in my ankle has been like night & day. Becky, an aide, keeps you motivated even when something is hard, and Erin at the front desk welcomes you with a big (masked) smile every visit. If you’re in need of PT or OT, definitely come here!

The Athletico Physical Therapy Family in Libertyville had certainly made an impact on my overall physical recovery. If I say “Family” it is because they truly made me feel welcome since the first moment I walked into their facilities. Most if not all the therapists and assistants there know how to make their clients feel at home. I know them by name and they are very easy to engage in friendly and uplifting conversations. Never intrusive, always respectful and very professionally trained. Each therapist may have their own techniques though but I can assure you there is one for each personality and physical problem you may bring to their doorsteps. I will miss them once I graduate. I look forward to get better. They work earnestly for you to recover your whole self, they pledge to resolve to the best of their ability any physical setback you may have and I am pretty sure they will cheer you up when the time comes for you to ring the graduation bell.

I have experienced several physical therapy centers, none of which can compare with this Athletico location in Libertyville. It’s simply the BEST! Here, most of your therapy is done directly with your therapist, not an aide. When the aides, who are amazing, do supervise your exercises, they are under the direction of your therapist, who keeps a watchful eye on your progress. I have come to this Athletico for issues related to rheumatoid arthritis as well as post surgical rehabilitation. Each time I have been impressed with my care plan and the level of expertise and professionalism involved in my recoveries. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I recommend it to all my friends and family.

I went to Athletico due to neck and back pain. Bongyeon was my physical therapist, she was knowledgeable, highly skilled and very helpful. Her treatment to stretch my neck and shoulder felt so good and helped me to be more flexible. Also my neck has more mobility and the pain has subsided. Bong was encouraging, upbeat, and fun, I thoroughly enjoyed gong to her. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They sanitized and cleaned equipment, spacing clients a social distance. I would highly recommend Bong and Athletico.

I have been treated 3 times over several years at the Libertyville Athletico, and can’t say enough good things about my Physical Therapist Melissa and her team of caring professionals. Melissa expertly diagnoses the specific problem and designs a unique program that progressively works you through greater flexibility and strength. Pain is reduced and you learn effective tools to prevent its return. I have great confidence in Melissa and the entire team at this Athletico, and truly appreciate their knowledgeable, kind and always upbeat approach.
