I'm a pharmacist and worked primarily in inpatient hospital pharmacy but did retail on occasion to pick up extra cash. My pharmacy days are behind me now but know that it's hard to find a positive pharmacy experience as a patient. I've always been pleased with the level of service and attention to detail in their pharmacy. They are practical and always have recommendations for solutions if there is an issue. Pharmacy techs and pharmacists know what they're doing based on what I've observed. They are very efficient in person and on the phone regardless of how busy they are. You'd be absolutely frightened if you knew how a minor pharmacy error could put you or your family at significant risk of harm. I saw many close calls back in the day when staffing levels were higher. Remember to give pharmacies a break. With volume being the driver for profits (or flu shots now), pharmacy staff are under significant pressure. You couldn't pay me enough to ever be a retail pharmacist. I'd absolutely recommend this pharmacy.

A few years ago, since my insurance changed, I had to switch my pharmacy from Walgreens to CVS and use this location because it is close to home. I noticed this location has been always disorganized. It’s very annoying to receive calls and texts from them to remind me it’s time to refill even though I told them I no longer need this Rx…Many times you have to wait a long time to pick up and sometimes they tried to offer $5 card to patients to offset much longer than usual waiting time. I understand they are shorthanded but don’t understand why they are not willing to think about how to improve their customer services. Today I came in for a flu shot. After taking 20 minutes in the line, I was told I need to wait an additional 45 minutes to get the flu shot. They didn’t provide any explanations and just said apologies. Instead of saying apologies, why don’t they take a very simple and easy way using a paper clock to let patients know the waiting time? I went to its nearest Walgreens immediately and it only cost me 15 minutes to get the flu shot done (5 mins in line, 5 mins for paperwork, and 5 mins in the private room to get the shot, btw there’s no private room available for CVS location). I have to stick to CVS because of my insurance plan but I will definitely stay away from this location.

I've been using this CVS for about 1.5 years, and their customer service is horrible. They routinely mess up my prescriptions, and I run out of medication as a result. Then I wait for a very long time at the store for them to figure it all out. It's the same routine every time I go. I assumed this would be a convenient pharmacy because it's within Target, but the staff seem stressed and exhausted, and they make major mistakes routinely. I spend a lot of time educating them about how to fill my prescriptions, and they are very basic and easy to understand. I don't know if they are understaffed or just poorly managed. I would go to a different CVS if there was one closer to my home.
