Simply put, Kari is the best there is when it comes to hair. I've been a loyal client for years and can't imagine anyone else doing my hair. I constantly get compliments on my hair after Kari works her magic! I love the vibe of Five and Ivy, the music is always great and conversation with Kari is guaranteed to bring out some laughs.nnI'm a low maintenance type of gal when it comes to my hair, but over the years Kari has taught me so many easy things I can do to my hair to keep it healthy and looking its best and not to mention she introduced me to some great hair products, that don't stress me out, and are environmentally conscious and vegan formulatednnI've met all the stylists at Five and Ivy and they are all so kind and homey! If you're looking for a new home for your hair, definitely check these Boss Ladies out!

I’m not the woman who gets too crazy over her hair. I happen to be blessed with a great natural color. However; my texture and curls are for the birds!!! Kari has been taking care of my needs for almost 20 years!! She has experimented with me when I needed it and counseled me through learning new products! I have recommended family and friends/ coworkers to Kari for color because I know she’s the best in the biz! None of which have ever been disappointed. Jen styled my hair for my wedding reception and It was so impressive! Straight out of a bridal magazine.nKatie has also been a god send with my daughters who are 9 & 11. They love it when they get to sit in her chair and are made to feel like princesses. I’m thrilled about all five of these ladies partnering together and coming to downtown Libertyville!

This salon space is beyond amazing! I’ve been seeing Danielle for years as she’s the one I trust most with my hair. She listens to what I’m looking for with every cut and color appointment and the outcome never ceases to amaze me! Going to crowded chaotic salons give me anxiety and this space has a more intimate and relaxing vibe. You get that one on one feel from start to finish which I think is easily missed at larger salons. If you’re looking for a new place to try, this one is worth it!

Great little spot in downtown Libertyville. Salon is beautiful and one Barber on call Cornelius. Any haircut is possible. He does a wonderful job. I would not not my boys anywhere else.

New, cute boutique salon with a great vibe. They truly care about you and the experience. The stylists listen to what you want. Hello gorgeous! Love my Five and Ivy stylists.
