Been seeing Dr. Hurh and Kathy his PA for almost 2 years. It’s has been a journey but one they have stayed with me on. Follow what they say. Take your medications as prescribed. I ended up having surgery at their recommendation. Took care of one major issue. Best pain doc around and I highly recommend. Worth the wait!

Dr. Hur is the best! Because of that he’s in high demand. Had a procedure yesterday where I made a huge mistake and he worked around the situation to accommodate me. I’m very grateful and highly recommend him.

I had an anaphylactic reaction to the buprenorphine transdermal patch and instead of ordering me a different medication, they dropped me as their patient and cancelled my celiac plexus block! I had called multiple times and told them i was allergic and having bad side effects and to change it back to the other medication, but in my time of need they abandoned me!ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21Worst doctor, worst practice! Not to mention that the medication i was on before, hydrocodone, i told them to please change it back to that and i have been on it since 2012 for my pancreatitis and liver disease. When they changed it to the patch they gave me no more hydrocodone, so my body was also going through withdrawal while having anaphylaxis! They changed it to the patch the day before my colonoscopy and endoscopy and instead of ordering me hydrocodone, told me to not take anything, (be in pain basically or go the e.r) and put the patch on after the procedure. After the procedure and putting on the patch i immediately had side effects, i couldn't breathe, my blood pressure was 186/160, my legs/arms/feet/face were red swollen and itch and i felt my heart palpitate! But instead of helping me they left me! Now i have to go to the e.r! Dont worry i have a malpractice attorney who is going to help me sue them! Don't go here if u want to be mistreated and left in the dark. Worst experience ever! Dr. Kathy Kovacic and Dr.Jay Herr deserve to have their licenses taken away! Especially Kathy Kovacic for making me suffer!

I had to wait 2 months to see him. But researching with other pain management Drs the wait was longer. Let me tell ya I got my cortisone injection in L5/S1 today. Dr Hurh and his team were GREAT. Walked me thru everything. Very minimal pain for the numbing shot barely felt any pressure for the injection. I highly recommend this Dr and his team.

I used to love this office but now I am disgusted with Dr. Katherine Kovacic. I had an issue with Walgreens billing my insurance for prescriptions I wasn't picking up and I explained this to the doctor. I even had a recorded phone call with Walgreens confirming I hadn't gotten the scripts. The doctor stated she understood and then turned around and had her staff tell me they couldn't help me anymore. If you are my doctor and I have proof that there is a misunderstanding and the fact that I have never had a problem with ANY type of medicine abuse in the past then she should've listened. At least been woman enough to tell me to my face she didn't believe me. I am filing a complaint so it should be taken care of soon but beware don't believe what she says to you. She'll smile in your face and change up behind your back. Untrustworthy by all means!!
