Mundelein Branch Traffic Court

They are doing court hearings via Zoom app , video chat . Wish I would of known this before taking off work and sitting in the parking lot for an hour waiting for my case to be called on my phone. Could of done this at work or at home. Just need the password for their chat room which they had filled out on paper inside the entrance after the metal detector.

Make sure to ask for payment receipt. I have made a mistake of saying I do need a receipt for cash payment. Apparently, there is no way to see who was the person that I have been talking to or who was looking at the case even as I can point a very small time window thanks to google location history

Great Courthouse in Lake County Illinois. There is always ample free parking in the lots. Make sure to get here a little early as there is sometimes a line in the courthouse. The clerks are very helpful and friendly. You can make payments at this location.nnWhen you get inside the courtroom (there is only 1). You get in line on the left hand side and the bailiffs will ask you for your name to check in. Let them know if you have an attorney appearing and they put the file in a separate pile.nnThe judges and staff are very nice and easy to work with. All around a very decent location.nnIt is somewhat difficult to find as the address doesn’t always come up on GPS...

The lady on the phone is so rude and has a attitude of a teenage girl.

They don't hand you a paper with your next court date and time. I guess they hope you forget what they told you.
