Clean, very nicely appointed, and super friendly staff - arrived near midnight with my golden retriever and he too had an excellent stay. Good area for dog walking here and we saw a deer.
CONS -nnChecking in:nnFront desk lady was very rude. Stood in front lobby for almost a half hour. Seemed Like she didn't know what she was doing.nnThe room:nnBathroom was not cleaned very well. Human hairs located in tub & toilet seat.nnChecking Out:nnChecked out next day. I left linens nicely put on the bed. Wet towels were left hanging. Put all garbage in one bag. Always try try to make it easier on the cleaning staff.nn---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------nnOverall:nnI am so surprised they are highly rated when they have the worst service. I am in the area monthly for family. Sometimes I stay the night. I will no longer use this hotel. Going to Holiday Inn now.
Everything made it a fantastic stay clean room bed was made perfectly thanks for comfortable stay
Great staff. The front desk is always polite and professional. Very very clean. Nice rooms. I love that you can watch your favorite streaming apps on your room's television.
Pet friendly and clean. Front desk was great and offered literature on Starved Rock area too....only reason for 4 instead of 5 star rrview is breakfast was chocolate chip muffin, chocolate granola bar, small apple juice in a bag..
