Kathy is the best! When I started with her, I couldn’t walk due to a staph infection in my spine. I had a walker. Kathy got me walking again and then eventually back to running. Highly recommend her!

My son plays club soccer year round, so quick recovery from injuries is crucial to his performance and playing time. Kathy at Athletic Edge is our go to person for any type of injury whether it's an ankle sprain, hamstring, back injury, or other mysterious problem that she quickly identifies and improves right away. Our son Alex sustained an ankle injury in November of his Junior year of High School. He had reconstructive surgery the following month in December. At the advice of his orthopedic surgeon, he obtained physical therapy at a local chain PT. We specifically requested a therapist skilled in rehabilitation of athletes as Alex was a Varsity lineman and Varsity thrower on his high school track team. He was motivated to rehab quickly so that he could get back for his track season as his goal was to play college sports. He had very poor results with the local PT. When his therapist left the location to move out of state, he was discharged from care assessed as having met the goals of therapy. He was actually discharged still having limited motion and strength. He was unable to throw shot put. Kathy did Astym therapy and performance training which allowed him to return quickly to track! He was throwing better than ever! With Kathy’s treatment, Alex was able not only throw his personal best, but also won the Fox Valley Confernce Championship in Shot Put. He played Varsity football his Senior season. In fact, he played both offense and defense and was recruited for college football. He is now a Sophomore throwing in college and playing Varsity football.
