Been coming out here for over a decade. Hard to believe this was once a racetrack with cars doing over 100 miles per hour here. Their are still remnants of the race track here. One of the most prominent is the Pure tank tower. The forest preserve really fixed the place up. Their getting rid of evasive species and planting prairie plants, made a bridge over the great washout, cleaned up the place. Nice walk and a good workout with the hills you have to climb. One thing they can do is add more benches along the trail. But overhaul a great experience.

A beautiful place to find peace and serenity. A good place to take a walk or bike ride to get away from the hustle and bustle and just take in the nature that surrounds you. Trails are well maintained, asphalt and dirt. It gives a good workout due to the hilly paths, but well worth it. Pay attention and you will notice remnants of the old racetrack that use to exist here. I've been coming here for years, even before the asphalt path renovation. Trails are well used now, so you run into more people. It's good to see people out and enjoying the woods.

I come here from time to time for mountain biking. It’s a very pleasant well maintained bike trail. Nothing super challenging or hard but still a fun place to ride. I would definitely recommend this for intermediate and beginner riders. If you’re looking for something more challenging this is going to be too easy for you I would probably go to Palos instead. But if you’re looking for a good cardio workout then it’s definitely great for that.

Great place to walk around and get some fresh air. There are some benches in a couple of places. If you have a mountain bike there are different trails to ride around on.
