Lover's Lane

Went in with my Husband to check out some new toys, Jen was very friendly and kind from the get go, I felt like I was shopping with a friend who was more knowledgeable. I've never been more comfortable freely speaking out what I expect in the products I buy and questions that I have with more awkward products than the usual consumer may want. Anyone looking to purchase anything from Lovers Lane I HIGHLY recommend Jen!nnAnd in case anyone is worried about covid, they sanitize between customers, temp check, and ensure customers use hand sanitizer before touching products all in all a responsible store considering our circumstances.

I’ve been to Lover’s Lane a couple of times. I love going in to try out the products that my friends recommend or what the internet may recommend. About a month and a half ago I went in with my friend to purchase ourselves some toys. We were super excited as it was my friends first time purchasing a toy. We both wanted to purchase one of the best toys for self pleasure. We worked with a very nice woman her name being Stephanie. Such a sweet girl and such an amazing employee. We both loved Stephanie and the help that she provided us with. She knew what she was talking about! She made you feel comfortable and it was a no judgment zone. We both ended up purchasing the Womanizer which is an expensive toy. Runs about $200 plus tax. We used it and we only could talk highly about the toy, however, mine broke a month and a half later. I went back to the store as I was told that there was a 2 year warranty on the toy. I was greeted by another woman which I had not caught the name of her. She was petite, glasses, & had gauges in her ears. She was unpleasant to work with. I typically do not complain, however, her whole vibe was off. I was freaking out about my toy because I spent so much money & it wasn’t working. She did not help calm those nerves if anything she was upsetting me even more than I already was. I just wish I was greeted with kindness, and non-judgment the second time around when I had an issue. When you pay so much money for a toy you expect the service to be amazing. It wasn’t and I’m very disappointed. I’m disappointed with my toy & the service that his woman had given me. Work on your customer service if you want people purchasing from your store.

I’ve been to lover’s lane a lot and never been more comfortable or had better help then today at the west Dundee location and it was by the newbie girl Laura O she really have great customer service and know how to make you feel good in the skin you in if you know what I mean lol that’s a bunch again Laura O

Bought a $150 item and the manager insisted on showing me how it worked. She forgot to put the charger back and let me leave. I live in Indiana..... never made it back to pick up the charger because I live so far. So basically I threw my money down the drain

This was my first time in a Lover’s Lane store today. I was really nervous going in because obviously the products here are of a sensitive nature. But Sally was very helpful (and side note, very cute) in guiding me towards the products that were right for me, and she was very good at helping me feel comfortable. By the time I left the store, I felt so comfortable and confident. I will definitely be back to this store, and I really hope to see Sally again while I’m there. Definitely recommended!
