I love coming here because it's so peaceful. A lot of places are too crowded, too loud, etc, but Deseret Book is always peaceful. It's dangerous to shop here since they sell so many things, oftentimes I'll walk out having spent more money than I intended, but it's a great place.
I went there for the very first time and of course I didn’t know what size should I get, so I asked a girl who was in the register to help but she didn’t care, she just said that I should look for my regular size!! My friend, who’s not a lds member try to help me figure out why size I was. We ended up buying something to big for me. She knew I was having difficulty to find what I needed but she didn’t care. For people like her, some people who are not lds think that “Mormon people” are rude.
Great atmosphere, employees and goods. Just pricey.
