Carthage Suites was a great place to stay while we are visiting family in Carthage. Friendly and local. We stayed in the recently remodeled suite has 3 bedrooms that worked well for our family. Everything was extremely clean and well done. High ceilings provide a spacious feel. They have stocked kitchen cabinets, clean sheets and everything seems brand new. Our only issue is 2 of the bedrooms are separated by a wall with no door, just an opening, so less privacy. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations!

We have stayed at The Carthage suites in the two bedroom and had people stay in the one bedroom multiple times in these past year! The Communication was excellent and the rooms were clean and David was very helpful and even if he was not able to answer the phone at the exact moment you called he always got back very quickly to us and he was very accommodating with our untimely arrivals and spur of the moments bookings that we sometimes needed! Yes there are stairs that lead up to the Suites because the Carthage Suites is above the square And the one bedroom has a beautiful view overlooking the square! The accommodations are top-notch,the bathrooms and the kitchens are very updated and unbelievably beautiful. The pictures here don’t do the suites justice! A washer and dryer is even available in the laundry room in the two bedroom which is great for the people that stay longer than a few days and need to wash their clothes. We would definitely Recommend staying at the Carthage Suites for anyone who is looking for a home away from home.

Garbage! I arrived at 7:30pm. I pulled up to a store front building on the square. There was a sign in the empty storefront and the door to go in led to very steep stairs to climb. It was dark and when called the hotel it went to someone's private voicemail not to the front desk. I immediately started looking for another hotel in a nearby town which was 20 mins away on a very dark 2 lane highway. DO NOT BELIEVE THE ADVERTISEMENTS!!! THIS HOTEL IS TOTAL GARBAGE!!!
