I came to FSX Chicago with a general inquiry to find out how I could someday pursue my dream of flying. After one visit to the school and an introductory flight I was hooked and I’m now well on my way to obtaining my private pilots license. With the schools advanced technology and simulators, professional instructors and general enthusiasm for aviation, FSX Chicago has proven to be the best school for flight training in Chicago. Overall a fantastic school and awesome group of people!

I came to FSX with an inkling of curiosity which has now grown into a full blown hobby and passion thanks to the great team here. You feel like family instantly and the knowledgeable instructors get you up to speed as quickly as safely possible. Safety is always critical with FSX!

I have been training at FSX Chicago for a few months. They have a Cessna 162 and a Cessna 172 based at Dupage airport (about an hour away from downtown) as well as a ground school conveniently located next to Forest Park.nnSo far it has been a great experience as the instructors are really knowledgeable, accommodating and, most importantly (as you end up spending a lot if time with them), friendly!nnBonus point for the amazing barbecues and dog fight simulator competitions they organize !nnps: I also believe they are cheaper than most competitors but do not tell them!

After a lot of research I selected FSX Chicago as my flight school of choice. The owner was very clear up front on the realistic cost of obtaining a PPL without any sugar coating. Other schools that I talked to only presented costs assuming minimum required hours which is very misleading.nnThe school is technology heavy, with a lot of different simulators to fit all types of training. The instructors are great and have made me feel very comfortable both inside and outside the airplane. The owner also does a great job in organizing different aviation safety seminars which are very informative.nnI plan on using FSX for all my future training!
