My son and I love the library! Everyone is always friendly and very welcoming. I requested more books for my child and in our next visit they had them. I also got his passport application done here. The staff truly goes above and beyond.nnSide note, to the people who are complaining, I highly suggest you sit at a village meeting and express your concerns there. I can assure you that the village officials aren’t reading the reviews and will most likely not address your concerns. Use your time efficiently, writing reviews online isn’t helping.nnAnyway, I love the Maywood Public Library!
This library is great! They offer a lot of interesting events to their community. The staff is very welcoming.
Although the hours open are frustrating this library takes limited resources it's forced to live with and soars into amazing programs and events for all ages. The staff is friendly. I'm proud to call thisy local library.
As much as I love the staff at this library, the facility is horrible. The library is practically never open, even on weekdays. It closes so early that children coming from school only have access to the limited selection of books and pathetic study rooms for an hour or two. What's the point of having a library if it's never open to be used? I have no idea how this library has such high reviews. When looking for a particular book for school, the Maywood library has N E V E R even O N C E had the book I needed.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Facility is always clean and odor free, especially the bathroom.
