Geppetto’s is a true gem, among the Oak Park shopping district.nnWhere Geppetto’s truly shines, is in their product and dedication to high quality customer service. They carry a huge variety of toys, games and other fun items that are not commonly found. Carefully curated, their selection of product reflects all ages and interests. Furthermore, the staff knows each and every product and will be happy to demo anything for you.nnThis was the case with my visit, as I was interested in fidget tools. The gentleman who helped me asked several questions before making recommendations to me. He was very attentive, and was great at balancing helping me while still supporting other customers. His suggestions were also awesome and I left with some great items!nnWould highly recommend Geppetto’s to all, as they are top notch at what they do!

My partner and I stopped by to pick out some new toys for our little one. I had talked the store up previous to our arrival because I had fond memories of picking out gifts here when I was young. As expected, the toy selection was great - but to my surprise the customer service left a lot to be desired.nnWe were the only customers in the store. At the time there were at least four staff members working and we did not even get so much as a “hello” let alone any actual assistance or guidance with our purchase. The only time we were spoken to was after we had spent 20+ minutes in the store and had approached the register.nnAs both my partner and I are retail managers, it is safe to say the experience put a bad taste in our mouths. I understand retail looks different during the pandemic, but a socially distance hello or even a wave from afar goes a long way.ud83dude14

Love Geppetto's! They have a great selection of items for a wide range of ages and interests. The staff goes above and beyond to give great customer service and will even do Facetime tours of the store to help you pick items. They also do a great job of wrapping the presents - for no extra charge! I cannot recommend them enough.

My new favorite toy store! So many creative and unique items you'll never see in the big chain stores. I had a great experience here in terms of finding beautiful gifts and being helped by really friendly staff.

First time visiting this fine establishment. Brandy and Micah were fantastic! Their expertise and background to the selection of toys in their shop blew my mind. They were very attentive and informative. Will definitely be back and their initial recommendation of Rorys dice game was an immediate favorite for my son.
