This is really scary. I would like to go to this place because its close to where I am visiting but the reviews are cautioning me to stay away. yikes ! I certainly do appreciate the forewarning because once a person sits in the chair you are doomed. So I appreciate everybody comments. Wish i knew where to go I certainly do not want to waste my time or disrupt my peace. It is true that most of these shops do not respect the African American black dollar I guess it because it is a commodity within the black community. We need a better resolve !
Gloria is awesome! She is a very nice and sweet hair braided that will not not accept disrespectful clients. As a hair dresser myself, people tend to be rude and disrespectful not knowing you can get that very same thing in return and still expect you to provide a service to them. ..... Um, not!!! Calling someone out of their name will totally get not get you the outcome you're looking for! I have came here for years and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for quality work!!
Gloria is VERY unprofessional and GREEDY! She wasted my time by double booking me with another client. Once I arrive, she told me her sister was coming to do my hair. I did not schedule with her sister. To insure she collects all her funds for the day, she completely inconvenienced me. I would NEVER patronize her again not would I recommend her.
The owner or whoever she is so rude & unprofessional I wouldn't tell no one to come to this shop
I have been a faithful client of Gloria's for about 8 years now. I always get a sew-in and she does an excellent job on my hair each time, my sew-in stays up for up to 8 weeks. My hair has grown since I've been going to her. I am completely satisfied with her service and will continue to be a client there and refer people to her if they want good quality service for a very good price.
