Love the staff at this branch! So friendly and helpful!

I would come here like everyday for about ten or eleven months, great spot to study & isolate yourself from distractions. Besides the occasional clueless & loud 'computer person' every other day around 1 PM, this is the one place i get some peace & quiet.nnIf you download the CPL app, you can get books sent here from Harold Washington, or any other library in the city & surrounding affiliated libraries.nnObviously popular books have a wait list, but if you are on a tight budget, it's your best bet for free reads! Printing & scanning is available for you to use as well.

I am appreciative and grateful that this totally free gift is available for me and all Garfield Ridge residents. Reading, learning is a passion. I find the staff competent, friendly but more importantly, the epitome of information. Not having the library open during this pandemic was one of the hardest things to deal without.Welcome back!

Never realized people could negatively critic a library. My daughter and I come here about once or twice a week. We've never had a single problem. It's clean, it has books and the staff is friendly.
