Great safe place to take a walk. It's a little over three mile stroll around a lake.
Enjoyed the natural beauty of the forest preserves as a child in the 70's-80's. At the time, it was not a place you wanted to be after nightfall. Time has been good to these woods. It appears cleaner and safe now. Miss it greatly.
Nice 3 plus mile loop. A few gentle hills and one short steep one going counter clockwise. Not crowded
Paved trail that is 3.46 miles long. A great place to get away from the suburbs and feel like you are in nature again. Highly recommend.
Scary like the movies! But a true nature trail. And dont back your car in ! Pull foward lol you know what they say.
