I live on 16th street and for the past 5 years whenever it rains my basement floods from the city storm sewers. Ive shown them the water bumbling up from my drains in the basement and they just keep ignoring me. Ive lost countless family heirlooms, a brand new washer and dryer, collector items and a water heater due to their negligence. If anyone else is having these problems please call the city and complain.
This place is the worst! So glad to be leaving this village. It took them 45 min just to print a bill stating their computer system is down. Awful
Since August of 2017, there has been a constant puddle of water on my property. The department informed me there is a broken water main on my premises as if August 2017. In the winter this water turned to s sheet of ice and throughout the remaining seasons there is a constant flow of water in my driveway, my grass has died, there is mud everywhere. The flow of water has csused my driveway to sink causing a pothole in my driveway, the street and my neighbors yard is also being affected by this constant flow of water. I have called multiple times, informed workers when I see them in the area and NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM AS MENTIONED IN THE AFOREMENTIONED STATEMENT FOR CLOSE ONE YEAR...AUGUST 2018 WILL BE ONE YEAR THAT THIS ISSUE HAS EXISTED. THE ADDRESS IS 350 IRIS LANE, CHICAGO HEIGHTS AND I AM CURRENT ON MY BILLS ALTHOUGH AFTER A YEAR OF MUD, WATER, SHEETS OF ICE THAT SHOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE AS TO WHY YOU HAVE NOT ADDRESSED. REPAIRED MY DRIVEWAY AND FIXED THE DAMAGED WATER MAIN. I HAVE MADE A COPY OF THIS POST FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IN CASE I NEED TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL. I RATE YOU A ZERO.
