Robert's Fine Art of Jewelry

If you need a vintage watch serviced by an honest and experienced watchmaker, Robert's is THE place to go to in the Urbana-Champaign area. I got a vintage automatic watch from the 1960s sent in for checkup, and he recommended a full service. My watch was running like 3-5 minutes slow a day and would sometimes just skip/stop. I asked Robert if he could get it within a minute per day so it's at least usable. Well, following the service, this thing is running like -5 seconds per day on average when worn, which is EXCELLENT especially for a watch that's like 50 years old. Did I mention the price for this servicing ended up being like 4 to 10 times LESS expensive than what was quoted by other jewelry shops in the area? Amazing work, and everybody there was so friendly and welcoming too. I would absolutely come back for another watch servicing. Actually, I'll go one step further and say that might currently be the only place I would trust to fix my watches, just based on experience. Thank you so much!
