Refused to fund the loan on time, messed up paperwork multiple times, refused to help with the signing made us sit in the room alone and figure it out ourselves, rudest receptionist I’ve ever experienced in my life, short with their clients, I could go on and on. Save yourself the headache and just go to Allied Capital Title in Huntington Tower. Oh, did I mention that the receptionist was the RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONIST I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE?! They get 1 star because they are at least located close to the bars for the much-needed drink after that mess.

Went to have a house closing arrived 2 minutes early with my fiancé and two children. One is 3 in a stroller and one is 7 months old in car seat and we are both wearing masks. We were immediately addressed at the door asking what we were doing there when we told this older woman we were here for a house closing she snapped and Said “well who are you“, I told her our first names and she swung her arms in the air Saying “name and name who?!” with an attitude and then proceeded to tell us children we not allowed in the office and other arrangements will need made and shut the door and left. Everyone else so far has been respectful and nice this woman was just outright rude and disrespectful. Today is supposed to be an exciting new start for my family and already we feel unwelcome and disrespected.

As a contractor, in I have had the worst experience with a title company in our 12 years in business. Rude and demeaning are the best words I can come up with. If I were choosing title companies - this would be the last one I'd pick.

Just closed on my first home at the Champaign Illinois Chicago Title. The experience was unpleasant from start to finish.nnWhen I dropped off a $15,000 cashiers check a couple of days ahead of closing and asked for a receipt, I got push back from a receptionist and a closer who both said that Chicago Title didn’t normally give receipts for cashiers checks provided ahead of time. That check cleaned out my bank savings and if lost would have cost me my first home, so I insisted and finally got a receipt.nnWe informed them about a misspelling in the county name, spelled “Champaiagn” on their paperwork, weeks ahead of closing. They said they would fix it. But, the Deed I was asked to sign at closing had the same typo, which then had to be re-printed while everyone waited.nnTwice I didn’t get call backs that they verbally promised to provide by a specific day/time.nnThey didn’t offer a separate closing room from the seller, which I would have taken them up on given tension due to non-completion of promised repairs by the seller.nnIn case you have a choice, I do not recommend closing at this Chicago Title office!
