I have loved this restaurant for years!! As a Mississippi native, it is the closest thing to home I have found up here! Kelli is one of my favorite waitresses I've ever had there! She is excellent, fun, and friendly!!
The food was delicious. My server was awesome but the front of the house needs improvement. We stood and waited only to be told we couldn't be seated until 4pm. It was 3:50 pm. Walk in and a couple had already been seated.
The food used to be so good. I got the peach chicken and it tasted freezer burned and under seasoned..the bacon was half done. The only thing that was good was the mac and cheese. The corn was hard and unseasoned. Just bland.
Food and service is very good here. Always fresh and decent portions. I would've given them more stars but the peach cobbler needs more work for flavor.
I love good fried chicken. Dixie Kitchen does it very well. I was pleasantly surprised when I called in one day and found out that it was a Manager's special on for the fried chicken dinners for half price. It's totally random, any day can be your lucky day. The food was good and the price was right!
