I had a root canal done here today, and it was THE best experience at a dentist I’ve ever had. I had a bad experience when I was younger so I absolutely do not like going to get teeth work done.nnThis morning I was nervous about getting a root canal. Once I got to the building and all checked in...I got really nervous. But once things got going and was all finished..I was extremely surprised that I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever during the whole procedure. I couldn’t believe it. It was definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at dentist. Dr. Xu was gentle, fast, accurate, and professional. Thank you Illini Smiles. You have basically taken the fear of the dentist away.

After having a horrible experience at a previous dentistry, I was a tad overly dramatic and hysterical about dentists and treatment.nnThe good thing?nIllini Smiles was there to help!nnI was so desperate to get a teeth cleaning, but since I’ve only ever been a student in town and relied on dental work in Chicago for all my needs I never looked for anything here in the area now that I live here full time. Like I said before, I had a terrible experience at another dentistry I found on google so I was scared to try again but I desperately needed the cleaning! Also, I have no insurance so bummer. Anyway, so Kristin, the front desk woman, was extremely sweet and actually cared about accommodating me and setting me up for an appointment. She didn’t rush me in to anything and even gave me time to think it over! I was told the prices up front and was taken care of by the very kind hygienist (I forgot your name, but you were the sweetest!) who checked my teeth and was gentle and made sure I was okay the whole time. She was upfront about treatment and prices to me and overall just really seemed like she cared! I also met with Dr Xu for a short while and he was also very nice and professional.nnSo in short, though I haven’t finished my treatment, I am just very grateful to have found Illini Smiles because they are professional, clean, and care about you! Recommend them to everyone!

Illini Smiles made for an extremely friendly and enjoyable dental experience! The front desk staff were very helpful with my insurance issues and happy to answer any questions. The person doing my dental cleaning/x-rays was a joy to speak with and did an excellent job!

I had the BEST experience today. I needed a root canal and have some seriously dentist anxiety. The dental assistant (I wish I could remember her name) was the absolute sweetest and talked me through the entire procedure and made me feel so much better. The dentist was so caring, gentle and quick. I had zero pain during the procedure. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Definitely the best dental experience I’ve had.
