New Hope Missionary Baptist Church was founded in the year of our Lord 1853, with it becoming a part of the Franklin United Baptist Association. Eventually the membership joined thee locale Saline Baptist Association which also has fellowship with the Illinois Baptist State Association and the Southern Baptist Convention.
