This theater is amazing. Everyone was super friendly, despite the craziness of a Grand Opening. There's plenty of space. The theater rooms are a bit smaller, but I'm okay with that. The menu has the basics: popcorn, nachos, and pretzel bites. This is fine by me, as I don't tend to eat much more than popcorn in a theater. The seating is incredibly comfortable, and at 5'2 I had no trouble seeing above the head of the person in front of me. The free refills on popcorn and soda means you're getting you're getting a great value. My only problem was that I could hear the theater next to me over the sound of Godzilla. I'm blaming that on first day sound quirks, and hoping it gets better.
This place didn’t disappoint me at all! We went to see the Tom and Jerry movie as a family. The theater is very clean and the staff is also very friendly. You can pay online and they also have an app that has a reward system that is really decent and easy to set up. They should set up a separate line for people that prepay their ticket though for busier times. We were fortunate because the show time was 4:15 on a Saturday so there wasn’t a line at all. But I would imagine the busier night time showings would be a different story. The packages for concessions where decently priced for the endless popcorn and refills. They have great soda choices via the coke freestyle fountain drinks. Their snack options were a smaller variety which isn’t bad at all but they are limited in comparison to an Amc. Their rooms for showings were smaller and I liked that. The chairs were comfortable and the walkways had plenty of space even when chairs are reclined. The sound and video was very great! The only real complaint I would have is that they were showing Godzilla in the next room. There was a few times I heard that movie going on while we were watching ours. I don’t know if that is because of the soundproofing between the walls? Or if it was just the sounds needing to be worked out between the movies that are showing? Either way all in all it was a great experience!
It's very exciting to have a quality theater in Alton. The theater looks great ‼ufe0f And the staff upon walking in was courteous. I had one small bump in the road. I purchased my ticket earlier in the day to avoid standing in line, and rushing to get concessions. However, only to be directed to the line, I tried to avoid to pay for popcorn ud83cudf7f. You have to pay for concessions when you buy your tickets. I decided to forgo popcorn and have a margarita instead. That little bump cost one star ⭐
Show was adorable, seats amazing, popcorn and drinks good! Theather was beautiful! Thanks to Hunter for helping me up the ramp with my Walker. If you have issues with walking, have someone push you in a wheelchair or your Walker. Plus there should be separate lines for people who paid for their seats a head of time. Plus, there is no seating for older people to set while they wait for someone to get their tickets. Those who can walk have a shorter distance to go up verses some one with disabilities. Now that we know how it is, we will be prepared next time! ud83eudd17
We absolutely loved our experience at this theater. The self-service popcorn is a game changer. We love the smaller home town feel of this theater as well. A++++ welcome to Alton
