This church is now titled St. John Paul II Catholic Church. It was formerly the Blessed John Paul II Church. (Before it was the Church of the Ascension .) Since Pope John Paul II was canonized a saint, it now has become St. John Paul II Catholic Church. There is handicapped parking and handicapped accessible bathrooms. Masses are Saturday at 4 P.M. and Sunday 9:30 AM.

St JP2 is the consolidation of two parishes that had operated in Mt. Olive. Despite being a newer church, the parish has a tasteful and distinctly Catholic interior. Looking for a great place for Midnight Mass on Christmas? Drive to Mt. Olive. Reverence and awe are a part of the parish life.
