The Absolute worst police department. I ran out of gas on Highway 257. I called the police department, they gave me 2 numbers to their local tow companies. I called one number and there was no answer. The other one I called informed that the gas station I was at (Darrs), there was another one next door. As I walked over to that one, he hung up the phone on me. On Christmas Day! They were closed as well. I called him back and he didn’t answer. I called the police departmemt back and they aggressively told me that They Will Not! Bring me gas! I live 2 hours away and I couldn’t even dial 911 to get help. After a few minutes, my phone went into out of service and emergency dialing only. I started praying to God that he send me someone. A family pulled up to let the dog out to poop! I flagged them down while walking from Bucks and explained to them my situation and crying at the same time. They were nice enough to help me. They went to the gas station and bought me 2 gas cans with 3 gallons of gas. The guy got out and put the gas in my car. I was Thanking God that he sent the family to the area. It’s a sad shame that this police department couldn’t help me. To think of being 2 hours away from home, stranded and could only dial 911 and they wouldn’t even help me. On Christmas Day! Just sad!
