Sikeston Public Library

They don’t allow any devices and strictly enforce the policy. I was trying to take language lessons on my phone and was told to take it in the lobby even though I was the only one there. I asked about the computers and they’re not equipped with headsets. These policies are very different than other libraries I have been to which are more in tune with the digital age. Looks like they have a lot of modernizing to do in regards to policies and equipment.

It's really cool, the Children's area was cute and there are some computers. It's a poke- stop and we found some cool Pokemon. There were also coloring pages and we heard it's good for geocash too.

FACEBOOK IS BLOCKED AT THIS LIBRARY...The librarians were quite rude. I was passing though town doing some school work and most of their websites were blocked so I couldn't do it. I wasnt allowed to take phone calls. They've BLOCKED FACEBOOK. I couldn't even have my coffee while I worked . With no study rooms either!...No reason to stop at this library if you actaully have work you need to get done.
