The facility here are super sweet AJ swirl hard to make sure you get the care you need. The only problem is their phone system. They always have a problem reaching my family and I and they have sent multiple letters saying my number is wrong, but the number included is my actual number. And their billing system could be improved. Other than that it’s a great place to be treated!

Visiting this clinic was ultimately a very disappointing experience.nI was required to pass a medical exam for the government, and SIU was the only approved clinic in our area. We made an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early, and a rather disinterested lady at reception took our info and told us to sit and wait for a nurse to call me. After 15 minutes of waiting, I went to ask her once again if somebody will come and again she said to wait. We waited 2 hours (!) while many other patients came and went, until a random doctor who had passed through several times asked why we were sitting in the waiting room for so long. Overhearing this conversation, the reception staff started whispering and checking with each other to figure out what happened. They discovered that the receptionist who checked us in had failed to tick the box that we had, in fact, arrived. There was a frantic bit of shuffling, and moments later I was taken to the doctor. By this point, the clinic was scheduled to close in 25 minutes, and things were very rushed. The doctor, nurses, and one girl at reception were apologetic, but not the one who checked us in and made the mistake in the first place. Even as we paid her, she offered no apology for her mistake or our unnecessarily long wait. We paid for the exam and left.nTen days later, I received a call from the doctor saying that he made a mistake and forgot to request one more mandatory blood test. With only nine days remaining until the full exam needed to be presented to USCIS, we made a rush trip that same day to get the extra test done. When we offered to pay for this test, both the doctor and the receptionist said we would not need to pay because it was their mistake and everything was covered by our previous visit bill. Three weeks later, we received a paper bill from SIU for the test and additional blood draw.nWe are in the process of contesting the bill, or at least part of it.nSadly the whole experience with the clinic was unnecessarily sloppy and frustrating. I can not recommend visiting SIU Family Medicine Clinic in Quincy.
