Very unprofessional business, charged for an engine repair not well done, left lose parts in it, they even left my car not running, asked almost 2000 dollars to get it fix and the end condition was even worse and beside that the owner asked to paid it cash so he can skip taxes. Refusing to give receipt for the service, not happy at all with this business and this is not the first time that they do this to customers. Stay away from this place!

Gave me a car inspection. Quoted me at $75 for the inspection then charged a $5 shop fee for his obd2 scan. I have changed my review from 3 stars to five stars because the mechanic called me and offered to make it right. Not a lot of people are willing to do that, I think this is an honest mechanic and they will treat you well.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Not only is the owner dishonest but he’s a crook too! We went in there on mid-June, after another mechanic recommended this horrible joint for our car that would not pass inspection. Not only did they not fix our car but it left worse then when we took it in. The owner promised that he would fix it. He said that they needed to put in a gas exhaust treatment to fix the problem and it would be $280. But he also offered my husband another solution if this did not work. He said he had a friend in Kamas and they weren’t as strict on the emission testing as Utah County. He offered to change our address so we could cheat the system. We refused and decided to go with the first option. When we went back he wanted to charge us close to $600 dollars saying that we missed understood him the previous day. I refused to pay so finally he charged us $400, still $200 dollars over the previous amount agreed on. Well! About 2 blocks after we left this joint our check engine turned on😡. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! THEY RUINED OUR CAR AND IT COST US THOUSANDS TO FIX.

I use Japanese Auto for all of my vehicles. I have two Honda Pilots an F150 and a VW Jetta and I’ve had awesome experiences for the past 10 years. License, registration, transmission repair, fuel injectors, replace, brakes, serpentine Belt replacements... these guys are especially great with Honda’s but are experts with all the cars I’ve brought in, and at a great value! I trust them, full of integrity!

Japanese Auto Repair is absolutely AWESOME!! Needed to start the yearly struggle of getting my wife's annoying Nissan Pathfinder registered. A vehicle that has, over the years, refused to run unless the check engine light is on. Every year I have always been able too get the codes to clear long enough to get it registered before the check engine light once again appears. This year I not only didn't have the time nor the experience to make her vehicle run properly. After having my last mechanic disappear of the face of the Earth, Japanese Auto Repair was recommended by a co-worker. Not trusting any new mechanic, I ran my own OBD II to find out what was required to get it to pass. Will (the owner) not only repaired the problems in a timely fashion, but not once did he try to deceive me by adding extra costs to repairs I knew I didn't need. As far as I'm concerned I have now found my "go to" mechanic as well as recommending him to everyone who need a solid, honest, and honorable mechanic for their vehicle.
