Ottumwa Police Department

Ottumwa police Department. I have a granddaughter that turned 11 years old today. She doesn't understand why she can't have a birthday party. I tried to tell her. Poor children just doesn't understand.

I've only encountered one officer as yet, he responded to a minor accident I was in. The man made our month. He was professional- but kind and personable. He helped us out in a big way and I'll never forget that.

Cop towed vehicle. No warning no knock on door. Then had the option to pay tow drivers but they only expect cash why would they hire a company that can't except all forms of payments. When suggesting to tow company that they get a card reader they started yelling and swearing and saying to f*** off at a woman all while the cop just stood they and listen and didn't stop them at all. Very disappointed that the cop would not step in and just tell them to do there job. Also disappointed that they would hire a company that only accept one form of payment. Plus they never told use any info on how to get the vehicle back

I learned a chance to get Ottumwa newspaper to find out what I need to know a missing person reported missing 13, 14, and 20 different fact's about this what is the truth!
