Scott County Library System- Eldridge Branch

Love this library and all it does for the kiddos! We love Ms. Emily and everyone there is like a friend. So many online classes to watch and great selection of graphic novels for my son.

There is a ton of stuff here! Building is great, employee went above and beyond to explain things, there's free passes to events nearby. She even didn't charge me for an overdue book (my mistake by accident)

It is a lovely building with very nice staff but the selection is the large draw back for me. Their selection isn't categorized (religion, romance, syfy, westerns), which means unless you enjoy walking the isles looking for a book you need to know exactly the book you want before you go in. The new book selection is rather small which means if you would like a new book that just came our chances are they don't have it. There online system Libby is alright but there are limited copies online meaning if that online copy is checked out you have to wait for an online book as opposed to Hoopla which has no holds or waits. And the lack of a self check out means you are waiting on the one person upfront to do everything. Overall a fine library but with this time and age it could really use an upgrade, are more funding.

Nice building at a convenient location. My children have all enjoyed coming here at some point.... the latest being for my daughters artwork on display for the dayud83dudc4dud83cudffb
