I was in the Missionary Training Center (MTC), about 2 years ago and I loved it it really helped me to learn more and to more fully understand the doctrine of the church and strengthen my testimony. At times it may seem kinda like a jail or a trap, but it's worth it. Hopefully Corona virus goes away and missionaries in the future can experience the MTC in person!

My MTC experience was amazing! The District I was assigned to and the teachers we received were an absolute blessing. The relationships that I made and the lessons that I learned will definitely help me for the rest of my life. I am so thankful for my MTC experience. I grew closer to Christ here in 3 weeks more than I did my first 18 years of life. I will always cherish my time here. Btw, I was in the MTC about 15 months ago so the pictures are a little dated.

What a wonderful place. The MTC does everything possible and more to make the beginning of your mission a rewarding and empowering experience.

Some people will try to tell you this place is where young teenagers are indoctrinated. Or that the staff here are a bunch of egotistical bullies. But that is not true no one forces anyone to stay there. If you wish to leave then leave the staff there can be a little pushy sometimes but they just want to prepare you for the next two years of service. The food could be better but the whole experience will change you for the better if you focus less on yourself and more on Christ.
