I haven’t been but wondering do they except Medicaid?

I give HIM 5 stars but some of his staff members need to be fired!!! Kim is definitely the first one that needs to go! He’s an awesome doctor who cares about his patients!! Some of his staff members have nasty attitudes. Love Dr. Hoy he’s awesome!!

I’ve been a patient of his for a while now. He seemed to actually care about my issues, but then out of nowhere he says he is going to turn me over to another doctor because he wasn’t prepared to do long term treatment for me. I think he is just scared to write pain medicine prescription because he is more worried about his image than he cares about the well being of the comfort and quality of life of his patients. How can a doctor that you’ve been seeing and knows your history just drop you like that without out any cause and leave you hanging and in pain. Now I may be an isolated incident I don’t know and I certainly don’t know why after many years he would suddenly decide he isn’t prepared to to take care of me anymore. It just didn’t seem right nor very ethical to me, but there may be something I just don’t understand about how you take care of patients or what all goes into the thought process of picking and choosing what you do with each person or whether or not you want to treat them anymore. But to be blind sided and be told he is passing me off to another doctor, and let me add a doctor that I didn’t get to pick myself, but one they picked for me just doesn’t seem like it’s very caring nor does it seem like it’s good quality care. But I guess I’m just a little angry at the entire situation because I am the one who has to suffer the Consequences of the sudden change of heart he had and now I have to wait for a couple of weeks in complete discomfort before I see this new doctor and not knowing what will come from it. I just don’t know what I should do or really how I should feel about it. I know how my body will feel but I’m just at a complete loss right now and I have lost faith in the entire medical treatment process. So much for the Hippocratic oath of not causing harm to your patients.

Dr. Hoy is amazing and blunt. A no nonsense, chill kind of doctor. He's a nice individual as well, which is a total bonus! :-)
