Cooters Pond Park

This place is a beautiful death trap. There is no way I would bring kids here. The dog park is nice, but there is no divider for big and small dogs. Everywhere there is a potential 100 ft fall into the lake.nnUpdate: dog park has much less feces than Winton Blount dog park

Decent park but they need to do some upgrades out there. Most of the picnic tables are rotted. But great views of the river. As far as fishing, I wish they had a couple of more areas for bank fishermen. The one area they do have is cool, however its by the boat ramp so you have to deal with boat traffic a bit. Otherwise, a nice spot all around

We have the Autauga Academy Cheerleader Fishing Tournament here each year and the beautiful sunrise is always a welcoming sight

Great 3 vehicle launch pad with no less than 10 boat pier. Great park with a parking lot that can park no less than 75 truck and trailers. Wish bathrooms were closer to parking area. Great park all around and best in Prattville and Montgomery area.
