After our, now daughter, shared her feelings about her journey in transitioning from a male to female, my ex-husband and I met with Dr. Weisberg to ask questions, learn, and understand the transitioning process.nBased on all the negative reviews posted about him online, I was VERY apprehensive about our meeting.nOur meeting was the complete opposite of all the negative things I read about him.nDr. Weisberg was very professional, respectful, knowledgeable, honest, understanding, and compassionate. He throughly explained the process and welcomed any questions or concerns we had. He spent as much time as needed to ensure that our questions were answered and our minds were at ease. You could truly tell that his heart was into the work he does! I walked out of that clinic knowing that my child was in good hands!nAfter the appointment, I realized that the majority of those negative comments probably came from one or all of the following:nA.) A scorned ex-wife trying to sabotage his reputation and career.nB.) Former patients who weren’t told what they WANTED to hear... but instead what they NEEDED to hear for the sake of their health and safety. Which is what a devoted patient advocate is supposed to do.nC.) Friends of the scorned ex-wife being accomplices in their friend’s libel defamation of character. Which by the way is legally considered a tort (civil wrong).nSo.... let’s just say.... Don’t believe everything said or written about medical professionals. Some of the BEST doctors I’ve ever had as a patient, a mother, and had the privilege to work along side as a nurse... have had the worst things said and written about them.nAlways judge for YOURSELF!

Dr. Weisberg is a knowledgeable physician who seems to have the best interest of his patients at heart. The initial visit was a very thorough consultation lasting an hour going over a head to toe history. He puts you at ease and makes it easy to open up about all areas of care. He works with you to ensure that you can meet your financial obligations and not have to worry about your healthcare being shorted. It's nice to see a Doctor in Alabama who treats Trans people with dignity and respect and understand our journey is individual.

I saw Dr. Weisberg for two years and he is the best doctor I've had in my adult life. He is smart, thorough, direct without being rude and practices medicine in a highly-ethical manner with total concern for both the short- and long-term outcome of his patients. One of the reasons I hated moving from Birmingham is knowing I would not find a doctor (and staff) that I like as much as Dr. Weisberg. He is truly dedicated to helping people in all situations and is someone who entered the medical profession for all the right reasons.

Dr. Weisberg listens carefully and genuinely tries to help however it is possible for him.

I have been in the care of Dr. Weisberg, as well as my husband and 3 sons. He is the most compassionate, up to date on the latest treatment in preventative care and thorough doctors I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I highly recommend him, and trust him completely with the care of my whole family. He is truly the best!
