My mother died suddenly and unexpectedly and we had to plan a funeral. Ira Lucas made the process as easy as possible with his kindness and compassion. He was patient with all our questions. We couldn’t ask for better service.
My husband, Chris Towns, is the executor for one of our neighbors that recently passed away. After his passing on February 9, 2021, we met with Lynn to discuss and clarify the funeral arrangements. They were very professional, courteous, and sympathetic about his passing. Lynn walked us through every step needed to finalize details and made the whole process easier. Lynn spent as much time as we needed, and we were extremely thankful for her attention. She told us several times to call her if we had any questions or concerns prior to his service at their chapel. On the day of his service, Lynn, Ira and other employees were there to assist family and friends in any way needed. Everyone was so friendly and expressed their condolences in the passing of our neighbor. We would highly recommend Johns-Ridout/Elmwood location.
Ira Lucas is providing exceptional service for the family of Kathryn Kirksey for her celebration of life. My Lucas was compassionate, welcoming, and worked in the family's interest, which is always good customers (1st.) I would recommend this company again. Thanks and ud83dudc98
The staff was very compassionate and professional. The facilities are a bit dated and the price was more than expected, but interactions with the staff were first rate.
