I love the historical architecture of this hotel. History incorporated into every aspect. We stayed in the pent house suite and everything was beautiful. Lacking in modern technology but I find that to be part of the allure. Bar and restaurant in house , both 10/10. Will go again.
Great history hotel, in the heart of it all. Nice view of the Ohio River. The Gun Room restaurant is very nice. Within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and sits along the walking/bike path.
I've stayed here many times in various types of rooms. The customer service is always very good, especially this most recent time. Beautiful hotel with wonderful views and charming decor. I highly recommend staying here :)
We didn't get the right room. It wasn't very clean. The cable didn't work. The Starbucks wasn't open. No hot water in shower. Also very difficult for someone over 6 foot to take a shower. No small refrigerator in room. The vending machine wouldn't return your money. It just wasn't worth $150.
I stayed here for a wedding. It's in a neat historic location and the views are nice. The hotel is quirky in an old fashioned way and the staff was nice.nnThree stars because the heater didn't work in my room from check in (3pm) until about 1am when I called the desk. They did send someone to fix it, but still, by then I had just gotten back from wedding activities and was exhausted and my room was frigid. They offered to switch my room at 1am as well, which isn't overly helpful when you've already unpacked. Also the ice machine was broken on my floor.
