Dr. Hashem is very thorough and kind. If consultations are needed he is quick to provide the appropriate referral. The office staff is organized and responds to messages in a timely manner. I am an RN of over 50 years and know a good physician when I see one and readily recommend Dr. Hashem for internal medicine services. I am new to Berkeley Springs and was afraid to get a good physician and felt after my first visit that I was very fortunate in finding him for my care.

On May 7, 2019, Dr. Hashem abruptly and nefariously abandoned me as his patient, leaving me in a dangerous atrial fibulation event and with no recourse for what to do to get out of danger. I was his patient for 4 years as an essentially healthy woman who enjoyed his gregarious visits. When I became ill, with multiple debilitating symptoms for 5 months, he failed to manage tests and specialists and never diagnosed what is still wrong.

This is a group of quality, knowledgeable and professional caliber. Dr. Hashem immediately puts you at ease and truly cares about your health care needs and / or concerns. His staff are courteous, timely and medically oriented all of which provides for a productive, pleasant and meaningful experience. The best you can get!

I had a very difficult to control health issue for 30 years. A friend had recommended Dr. Hashem and it was the Best choice I could have made. Within 2 months he had my issues under control. He is not afraid to work with patients to solve their health issues. He is definitely a 5 star doctor for me.
