Really nice hidden gem right here in Snyder. Free to go see but we couldn't help but make a donation. Our church went to see the latest exhibits which were paintings by Mr William Moorman of Snyder. Amazing!
The art exhibits look amazing and there is always something new to experience. The main gallery exhibits are in English and Spanish. Staff is highly professional and very friendly. Nice casual atmosphere.
It is small but well thought and laid out museum.
I really enjoy this museum. They do a great job of showcasing the important events in Scurry county history, and have a good selection of temporary exhibits and events that keep the community coming back. And a big part of the draw is the staff. Their enthusiasm for the museum makes visiting there a real joy.
Grandson and I loved our visit. He played at the interactive museum badge table while I traversed the new School days exhibit!! Great job!
