Provo Family Dentistry

The dentists/hygienists I had at Provo Family Dentistry today we're the best!! They were so kind and careful and explained everything really well. One of the cavities we were thinking of getting filled ended up looking much better in person than it had on the x-ray so we decided not to get it done. They had my best interest in mind and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend! :)

I really like this dentistry. After being seen with other doctors. Dr. Flick is by far the best! My whole family comes here. I recommended my cousin not too long ago. They know what they are doing. Staff is amazing. They use the best instruments. What I like about them too is that they always try to find the best solution for your pocket and the doctors will go out of there way to explain everything. I will continue to recommend Provo Family Dentistry to more friends and family.

The waiting room is always clean and staff are all friendly. Waiting time is only a few minutes before they call you back to be treated. The hygienists are thorough but gent when cleaning teeth. All of my children love going here, they are really great with children.

I love Provo Family Dentistry! Dr. Wilson has been my dentist for over 25 years, he has never made me wait, is always willing to fit me in when I have an emergency and his staff has always been so nice. Dr. Flick and his wife make you laugh so hard you forget your at the dentist and makes it a wonderful experience. If your looking for a great dentist you can't go wrong with either one of them. Also their techs and hygienists are so personable and remember everything you like and their skills have been top notch.

In case you don't want to read my noval: - Great Dentists and Hygienist - TERRIBLE front office staff (or at least one of them) - Billing issues ALL the time - Overall incompetence (mostly the front staff) - Not worth the trouble, find someone else. I have been going to this office for a few years now. All of the Dentists and Hygienist have been great, the best dental care and nicest cleanings I have gotten. My only issue is with their now office manager Megan, it started with little things (scheduling errors, not getting reminder calls, condescending and overall kind of unpleasant). I dealt with it because I really liked the Dentist and Hygienist and didn't want to go through the hassle of finding a new office. In 2017 I had a few issues come up that required me to come in every 3 to 4 months, I did this treatment plan for less then a year and it wasn't covered by my insurance. No biggy I didn't mind paying extra for proper care. Once the Hygienist gave me the all clear I went back to my normal annual check up (which is covered by my insurance). The first time I went back in for my normal routine they billed me for the special treatment plan (wasn't surprised considering all the previous issue's I've had), I called she checked with the Hygienist apologized for the issue and fixed it. I had to go back in shortly after that for a filling (I happily paid for that). My next annual check up the same thing happened, again I called she apologized and fixed it. I went in beginning of this year, no bill comes so I think great they got it right. A few weeks ago I got a bill, I called they said they will look into it and get back to me. Magen the office manager calls me and states the billing is for the special treatment. I informed her I was taken off that treatment a few years ago. She then starts tell me that's not on the chart and that I am on the same plan to come in every 3-4 months, I explain that I haven't been going that offten (she even confirmed the last 4 times I'd come in). She then trys to explain the cleaning is different (I'm a certified dental assistant, it's not different. You just go in more often for a normal cleaning). When that doesn't work she goes back to "that's not writen on you're chart". Confused and aggravated because although the Hygienist and Dentists didn't write it on my chart SHE CONFIRMED I HADN'T BEEN GOING MORE THEN ONCE A YEAR, and that the last two appointments were a YEAR apart. After going in circles with her (while I was working because they cant follow a simple request to call after a certain time) I said I'd pay the bill and hung up. I don't normally leave reviews nor do I get mad over a bill, but I've put up with their incompetent front office for over 3 years now. I also don't need another bill during a pandemic, I was without a job for 2 months because of COVID19 and I can't give money for a service I haven't gotten in years and paid in full at the time the treatment ended. In summary, don't do it. Megan is the worst.
