I was very impressed with this company. They have an amazing Selection of handmade rugs from around the world. Mr kaskas is very Knowledgeable about each rug that he has, and knows exactly where it came from, and the materials used to make them. They also do repairs and cleaning all from the shop.
Out of curiosity I walked into an old location of there’s and was greeted by a handsome young man! He spent time sharing his vast amount of knowledge and his family business. Now more then ever I wanted a rug of theirs. Since that day I have purchased 6 rugs from them. The father of the the business is now a friend to me. I have pride in my rugs and consider them a jewel in my home. If ever a person wanted a one of kind rug this is your place. And So It Is .....

I highly recommend the Kaskas Oriental Rug Gallery. This is a family owned and run business. They travel abroad to acquire high quality, beautiful oriental rugs at very reasonable prices. They are almost respectful, attentive and friendly. In addition to selling splendid rugs, they're available to appraise as well as to expertly clean fine rugs, too. An Austin treasure for decades.
I have purchased more than 15 rugs from this family. Unlike most rug peddlers, they are trustworthy, honest, have good value and stand by their trades. I recommend them highly.
