Cannot say enough good things about Denise and her team. Excel Pediatric therapy has changed my children's lives. If you suspect your children have sensory processing disorder (Denise can assess this for you) this is something that can alleviate their sensitivities and struggles. Office is professionally run, insurance claims get submitted on time, it's an investment of time and money, but the difference in the kids is amazing. I can honestly say that both children function so much better after having completed therapy. Better grades, better handwriting, so much better transitions and self care, better MORNINGS!!!! Do this for yourself as much as for the kids.

I took my son for speech theapy. The therapist seemed kind and patient. The first thing I didn't like about this place is that there was no way for me to watch my son as they performed his therapy. I had no idea what they were doing with him and that really bothered me. His safety is my primary concern. Second, they wanted him to come twice a week for 30 min. How could anything be accomplished in 30 min? I spoke to a few other therapists and a doc who all said 30 min wasn't long enough. Last, when I brought up my concerns about the 30 min sessions to the therapist she said any decisions were made by the office manager. Shouldn't decisions about my son's care be made by a therapist or doc? When I spoke to the office manager she told me how wrong I was, that she was not going to address my concerns and that there were other speech therapists in Rockwall that I could go to. Maybe the therapists are decent but the mentality of the office is all about getting paid with little concern for the patients.
