I scheduled an appointment to get my eyebrows tinted and waxed. I got there a little early which was no biggie because I wanted to shop around and I needed a new brow pencil and I was gonna get my husband some cologne for our anniversary coming up. I had an appointment with Liz and she was with a client when I arrived so my sister and I were just looking around and getting the things we wanted. Liz asked if I needed any help and I told her I was just waiting for my appointment. (I did not think I was being rude because she was in an active conversation with her client.) So it was my turn and I told Liz that I wanted a dark brown and she responds with “I think it will be to dark and that you should go with the medium brown” I tell her that the medium brown is to light and I would like it darker and she responds with this service is optional. I was in shocked because she said it rudely. Then she says “I didn’t mean to be rude” and I respond “well you were” and she states that I wasn’t very friendly when I walked up. And my sister asked how was she not friendly? And she put down her things down and said she was going to get her manager. Her Manager walks up and states that Liz is uncomfortable doing the service because I was rude. We explained to “Yvette?” What happened and she offers to reschedule me and give me a discount. But I decline because like I told her I wasn’t rude. But I shouldn’t be denied a color I obviously want and I’m not gonna stand to be talked to like Liz talked to me. I didn’t get loud with Liz. I didn’t call her any names. I told her what I wanted and I think that she should have gave me that because I’m paying for the service and it’s my body and my choice right? That’s just like if I walked into a hair salon and asked for a trim on my long hair and the stylist says no I think you would look better with short hair. No stylist would do that and then tell their customer that their service is optional. I will not be back to this Ulta. I’m still in disbelief I was spoke to like that and that’s not acceptable at all. It’s hard enough for me to treat myself and feel good about it because I’m a mother to 5. It’s not an easy decision for me to decide I’m gonna spend money on myself but I was looking forward to this. Yes to some it’s just brows but it makes me feel good about myself.nnSo thank you Liz for treating me the way you did because you made my decision not to use Benefit Brow Bar ever again. But I’m far from a rude person and that’s why I didn’t engage with you when you asked if I needed any help because you were in a full conversation with your client.

I love this store but I had to take 2 stars out for the disrespected we encountered last time we were in there. This one worker was repeatedly following us asking us if we need anything we were just looking at the perfume. Two other customers opened up a box perfume and put it back down and she comes up to us and ask us if we did it and if we want to pay for it while we were standing in line.nShe really needs to get it together because Honey I don’t steal and I never will I have enough money to pay for what I want. ud83dude09

Really needs more cashiers and it was so hot in the store I felt terrible for the employees. Other than that it was great. After hearing from the owner I'm hoping the work environment will improve bc these ladies really do so well.

Stacey, one of the master hair stylists, did an amazing job on my hair! I did a multi-toned, purple and pink hair color, with a cut and deep conditioner. It was only her 3rd day back after being out from having double hip surgery, and she did so great! Stacey is so skilled, friendly, and gives lots of great tips on how to keep your hair healthy and fresh with color! Highly recommend!
