Amazing school the teachers take great care of us and they don't just do it for a paycheck they do it for us definitely think you should send your kids here!
unorganized administration who don’t care about the students, just their paychecks. you will regret sending your kids here just as i have. horrible athletics program, they have had losing seasons in basically all of their sports since 2015 and as soon as they get a coach steering them in the right direction... he gets fired? a coach, a mentor, a father figure to many students... gets fired and not single valid reason was given to these heartbroken students. not like they care, as i said... as long as they get their checks $. what a shame, hoping parents don’t make the same mistake i did! the rapoport i was once proud to send my kids to school at is no longer, shame. changes they made this year have crashed their image to the floor... and no explanations have been/ probably won’t be given.
best school ever recommend you should go here
This is very hi quality school. If you're rich, or if you're poor, send your kids here.
I am rating Rapoport Academy High School with three stars for multiple reasons. However, I would like to talk about one reason in detail. I am a Sophomore (10th grade) and I have been at Rapoport since the 6th grade. Believe it or not, that is not a long time compared to some of my friends who have been here since they could walk. Over the past years, Rapoport has shown me so much love and has given me some of the best advice and some of the greatest friends that will last me a lifetime. Although, there is a huge problem going on with this school right now. There is no organization and there is definitely no consistency here what so ever. This school has been loosing so many wonderful teachers and coaches. We have been loosing the people who care about us and actually want to see us go somewhere in life. These are the people who stand up for us. For instance, there is a gigantic dilemma about our lady ravens basketball coach, Coach Mike Mitchell. He was asked not to come back next year and up until today he was able to finish the year out with us. However, today he was asked not to come back to work and that he would be on administrative leave; he will be getting paid for not coming to work. Why is this? No one actually knows. Rapoport has been so good with informing us in the past, but this situation has been hushed tremendously. I am an athlete at Rapoport, so you can probably understand why I am taking the time out of my day to write about this. I am frustrated. My teammates are frustrated. We are furious and heartbroken. We just can not believe that the people who claim to “want us to be great,” would fire the person doing their job. It’s outrageous if you ask me. Coach Mitchell is a father figure and mentor to so many athletes in the Rapoport Academy athletic department. A little bit over a year ago, Rapoport had the same problem with another coach. She was also another amazing coach and she cared for her athletes like we were her own children, as well as Coach Mitchell. The administration did the same thing that they are doing to Coach Mitchell, to her. She was asked not to come back for being a fierce person that will stand up for her kids. After our girl coach, we received Coach Mitchell and as soon as he got here, we loved him. It is exhausting to have to recreate relationships every single year. This is the zero consistency that I was talking about. I would love to finish out my high school career with Coach Mitchell as my coach. Even though, that is something me and most of the school desire, I don’t believe it will be happening. We have spoken to the board, we have protested peacefully and we have spoken to the news. I think it’s about time that our administration took the time out to think about reconsidering not asking Coach Mitchell back next year. I apologize for writing a paper on a review, but I don’t believe my voice will be heard any other way.
