Just tried to call my spouse who is being held hostage in building 94 and the lady that answered was unprofessional with 0 phone etiquette saying she needed to look for available phones (hello...you're currently talking on one) then she said there was none and hung up on me. Currently on the phone with an attorney.

I'm sorry father that you couldn't get help today and waited 3 hours before they decided you needed to come back again. I'm sorry dad that they couldn't even help us heal the cut you have on your leg because it was their time to leave for the day. I'm sorry father that I'm not trained in mental health nor do I have millions of dollars to heal you. And, when we asked again for help they referred us to the Temple hospital, an hour away. I'm sorry father that you thought they were going to help you this time. (Your positivity faded when we left.) Dad, I'm really, really sorry.

The facilities themselves don't seem that great to me, in spite of looking brand new from the exterior. The interiors seem a bit dated and give the place a somewhat depressing atmosphere. The staff, however, are without fail, so far, extremely friendly and helpful. I recently transitioned here from Dallas, and have not been let down by the staff's overwhelming support. Keep up the good work, y'all. (Have also had quite a few friendly and heartwarming encounters with my brother veterans at this facility).

Not sure how to begin my statement/question but here goes: because the VA was closed during COVID19 my dental appts were canceled that took months to get in the first place, since I was no longer able to stand the pain I ended going to a civilian dentist (2 day wait) basically since it came down to a question of economics I had to settle for the cheaper fix it now alternative than doing the what was really best in the long run (at thousands of dollars of course) I believe that at the very least I should be re-reimbursed for my out of pocket expenses...

I am not saying what others have gone through is not real good or bad but we retired here from Chicago two years ago and the service my husband has received here in Waco and in Temple has been outstanding at every turn and actually life saving. If i could give a Trillion stars I would. From PA’s to Drs. to the people who greet you at every desk and on every phone call..people in the surgery room, follow ups and anyone else that has helped my husband through a few scenarios...thank you, I am grateful and we appreciate you all.
