I’ve been going to Dr Benes for years, and I drive the 45 minutes for my appointments because he actually listens. He is very nice and really cares about what is going on with me healthwise both physically and mentally. It’s very hard to find caring doctors and he’s one of the best.Highly recommended him as a primary care doctor

Dr. Oliver Benes has been the best Family Dr Ive ever had. He looks at you while he talks and explains everything. He treats you like a person... Not just a patient.

To put it the best way that I know how- Dr. Benes is the best doctor I've ever had, and it's not even close. I've had other doctors that seem to care about their patients, but I know for a fact Dr. Benes cares about his. A visit with the Doc is not just in the door and back out, treat as many patients as possible. He always takes the time to see how I'm doing, if I have any questions, and even if I have any suggestions. And what I mean by that is, he'll ask me what I think works best for me. It's collaborative in a way that is unusual for doctors (in my experience), but should be the norm. He recognizes that everyone is different, and may need slightly different treatments based on the individual. We decided to change the intake form of a medicine I was on because of that very thing, asking how it was working. Talking about alternatives. This was at the end of the day on a Friday. So, after I called several pharmacies, of which none had the new medicine form in stock and would have to order it, I got really worried because it was due to be refilled on a Sunday and I would be out of the medicine. I called and left that information with him on Saturday morning, and he didn't even wait until the end of the day to fix the problem. Within 30 minutes I had a voice mail, (not from a nurse, but from the Doc), letting me know that he called the pharmacy that I usually go to, and fixed everything so that I would still get the new medicine form, but also had enough of the previous one to last until they could order it in. And that's just everyday for him, nothing out of the ordinary. Just helping his patient. I know this is a super long post, but if you have to jump through hoops to get him as your doctor, jump through them. It will totally be worth it.
