THIS PLACE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR PATIENT NEGLECT!nMy 89yr old mother had a knee replacement and after 3 months of rehab at St. Catherine's, she was released to her home. She had a knee replacement and should have been able to walk via walker, but she was unable to even stand.nShe had a severe rash over her private area (including inner thighs) and sores all over her backside. The rash on front area was so bad it was dark purplish/red in color.nTwo home health care nurses witnessed it the day after she returned home and are working to get her healed.nI experienced poor communication in finding out how my mom was doing. She had vomited and had diarrhea one night. I called to find out what was going on with her. Her nurse was busy at the time so I left my name and number for her to return my call. I never received a call.nI spoke with my mom every night on the phone. She told me she would push the nurse button when she needed something but a lot of times it would take an hour or more before a nurse would show up.nShe said therapist would come in once a day. They were suppose to be helping her work her new knee....now it's nearly locked up (can barely bend it). Home health therapists are very surprised at the poor range of motion in that knee.nI feel so bad my poor mom had to suffer such an awful experience. Nobody there cared for my mom.nMom's experience happened during Covid virus outbreak.

I am only giving this 2 stars because they have a nice aviary. Other than that, there is nothing I would recommend about this place. Are used to be a really wonderful facility but it is not now. My stepfather was in there and we moved him to another facility because we were so unhappy. The rooms are tiny and you share with another person. There were a couple of nurses that were really good but the rest not so much. It just was not a good place

My grandmother is currently here. I'm all the way in fort worth but I'm about ready to make a drive to Waco. Family shouldn't have to be there for them to do their job. Nurses and CNAs have a job to do and should do them. And if you can't or don't want to then find a new job. No one should be left sitting in a wheel chair for hours on end. I shouldn't get a call because she needs to go potty and no one will call. Trust phone calls will be made first thing in the morning. And if I need to go above the administration head I will.

The care depends on the staff that you have to deal with.nSome of the exceptional employees are the food staff (Lelia), Sarah the speech therapist (very informative and kind), Genia the cleaning lady, and CNA Kennedy.
