6 days as of today in their care and one partial sponge bath on my mom age 68. This lead to sores on inner thighs. After days of mentioning they ordered wound care. It's been 24 hours and no care on this yet. Her over all condition is worsening. All vitals normal but can't eat. Persistent vomiting. The care of cleanliness of patients is sub par at most. I've now resorted to bringing ointment to treat myself. It's sad that I can't go home knowing my mother will have minimum of care. 2-13-21( covid isn't preventing the opportunity of care.

I understand the rules are made for everyone's best interest, but some situations are different. When you know it will be the last time that loved ones will be able to all be in the same room. Qith each other the last thing that anyone wants to do is choose which 3 people have the highest rank and get to be there while the rest of the family is held off at the door like cattle. Who deams you so holy to make that call. Everyone grieves and process death in different ways. And I'm almost sure that there is a rare few that process it in bundles of 3 in 15 min intervals. It shows lack of care and heart in so many ways. This is something that needs to be looked at and have kind of bend to the rule. This is a hard time for anyone. Especially the one who has to keep level head and keep up with ration of the visit all while trying to process that her dad will no longer be there after today. For those who have lost a parent and dealt with shifty rules at hospital, I need say no more. You know where I stand on this. I pray that noone else has to have more troubles stacked on them while dealing with the lose of a loved one.

My husband was transported via ambulance from Hillsboro (great transport people making sure I stayed with my hubby and helped me get to his room). It took 2 hours for check in although the nurse said we’ve been waiting on you. Once check in was complete they said rest...his room was across from the nurses station and they talked and Laughed all night. They would come in for vitals and get back to sleep and come in to ask how he was doing. The covid screen is lacking. I had been with him and the nurses, techs etc in and out all night but all the sudden they gowned and I had to leave for an hour. Makes no sense. I had to sit in a hall for an hour at 4:30 am. Night shift was good about bringing pain meds as he requested but the day shift wasn’t he was in pain for 2 hours before they brought his meds and he requested 3 times. They said the nurse would get to him when she could. So instead of being on top of the pain he lost control of it ( he could have pain meds every 2 hours). Asked for food after surgery since it had been over 24 hours since he ate. They said lunch was over and the only thing they had was peanut butter and crackers. I asked if he could eat my food andThey said yes. After he finished my food a sandwich appeared from the lunch room. After surgery he was suppose to discharge a couple of hours after being on the floor. (We were there almost 6 hours ) the nurse only came in 1. When he was brought down and 2.just before discharge 3. When he discharged. She hooked him up to the bp machine and said it would take his bp every 15 min for 2 hours. The tech came in and took it after the 2 hours. The nurse said she was getting discharge papers and will be right back 1.5 hours later I asked when she was going to discharge the other nurses said she would get to us when she could. Finally came in and said the charge nurse highlighted the important parts for him to read then had him sign a paper and told us good bye. No wheelchair, no patient education, told we could read about the meds on the paperwork. We walked out of the hospital. We have never had such a shocking experience with a hospital and unless we have no choice, we will not be going back. There are too many hospitals within the same driving distance for us to go to and we’ve had better experiences with.

Currently at the Hospital room 387 I was in the system as an NPO but had a talk with my cardiologist earlier around 8...he told me surgery would not happen today...and that I was able to get breakfast...X-ray came in and took me to get a chest X-ray...I came back to my room and seen my breakfast tray (incomplete breakfast) Cereal (no milk) orange juice and yogurtnI’ve already told my nurse that I needed food and that this is not going to do anything for me...(I’m not a toddler) I need milk with my cereal...I called down to Dietician and told them that I got cereal but no milk (he wasn’t even concerned about it)then proceeded to tell someone that he regrets opening up in the morning...I’m a diabetic and the only thing I have had was graham crackers and a Sprite Zero.....I hate to say this but I got treated BETTER in icu...I’m HUNGRY and now I have to wait another hour to get food...I KNOW YALL CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!!
