Deja Do

It is a very cute little salon with cute decor! I’ve heard good things about this salon, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. I had set an appointment with Crystal to get a trim. Also, I tried my first rush cycle class early this morning, and didn’t get back home at the time I thought I would. Personally, I figured I’d prefer someone to be a few minutes late and take a few minutes to take a quick shower, if I am going to be touching their hair. Thus, I called the salon to explain what had happened, and that I’d be a few minutes late. I wanted to call ahead to make sure that would be okay. Otherwise, I’d completely understand and reschedule. The person on the phone told me that crystal said that would be totally fine. Unfortunately, when I got there she was extremely rude and I found it unnecessary, given that I even called ahead. She told me that I was ten minutes late, and she thought I’d only be two minutes late. Therefore, she refused to cut my hair. I told her I understand, but that I wish I could’ve been told to reschedule over the phone instead, given that I live far away. She told me she would’ve called me, but she was rinsing another clients hair at the time. Although, when I got there she was just in the back, and did not look busy at all. I maybe saw one person in the salon.... she had a terrible attitude and I would never dare speak to a customer in that tone of voice. I was honestly quite shocked. She asked if I could come back hours later, but I told her she can just cancel the appointment altogether, because I did not appreciate the attitude. It’s unfortunate, because I was intending on leaving a very generous tip, because I did feel bad for running late. If you want to try out this salon, I just recommend not having crystal as your stylist.

Ashley was amazing! I love my hair! She was knowledgeable about how to accomplish the color and style I wanted without damaging my hair. Great customer service!

Morgan Nix is an awesome stylist. Highly recommend Her.

They are always so kind and helpful! And they’re so good at what they do.nI just want to especially say that James was such a sweetheart and cut my hair last minute for me and took the time to make sure it looked just right. I will always go to Deja Do for sure :)
